Licenses & AVSAF Training Ground Assistance Licences Two Mitie companies, Translimp Contract Services and Mitie Facilities Services, hold ground assistance licenses to perform the following activities: Administrative assistance on land and supervision (Cat. 1) Assistance to passengers (Cat. 2) Baggage assistance (Cat. 3) Cargo and mail assistance (Cat. 4) Aircraft cleaning and servicing assistance (Cat. 6) Flight operations assistance and crew administration (Cat. 9) Surface transportation assistance (Cat. 10) Stewardship assistance or catering (Cat. 11) These are issued by the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA). These licenses authorise us to deliver aircraft cleaning services at 45 Spanish airports, including the top 5 of Spanish airports in terms of air traffic: Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Málaga and Alicante. In the field of safeguarding civil aviation against acts of unlawful interference, all unaccompanied personnel that accesses the airside of airports are required to have successfully completed specific and relevant training.
